Ubuntu Spirit -Rules of the Road
Rules Of The Road:
The Ubuntu Crew
Whether you are interested in volunteering or learning more about our outreach, these guiding principles define how we show up for our community.
-
Everything is freely given.
Our support comes with no judgment, no conditions, and no expectations—only compassion, respect, and an open heart.
-
Listen, but do not ask.
If someone chooses to share their story, it is a gift. We listen with care, respect, and without judgment.
-
Create joy whenever possible.
Laughter, kindness, and human connection matter. We strive to create moments of warmth and dignity in every interaction.
-
We protect privacy at all times.
We do not take photos of, record, or share personal information about anyone we serve. Privacy and respect are non-negotiable.
5. We serve without agenda. Our community reflects many beliefs and backgrounds. Ubuntu Spirit does not promote specific religions, ideologies, or conditions of support.
6. We act with integrity. The people we serve are often unseen and unrepresented. We honor their humanity, their needs, and 0their trust at all times.
7. We do what we say we will do. Consistency matters. Showing up—every week, rain or shine —is a core part of our commitment. Does this sound like you? If you feel aligned with these values and want to join the Ubuntu Crew, we’d love to hear from you.
